Innovation has always been the core of Walter Steiger’s design, most notably the Steiger Claw. This shoe was originally created in the early 70s for Karl Lagerfeld’s Chloe runway presentation.

Steiger simplified the heel design, keeping the shoe’s silhouette parallel to your sole.  His curved heel makes you feel more stable when walking, so you are less likely to have scraped knees from a drunken tumble on NYC's meatpacking cobblestone.  You will look better going down though #HauteMess.
